After working for more than 15 years in the health and social services and education sectors (with vulnerable individuals and communities) here in Quebec and abroad, Emmanuella Michel, a doctoral student in educational technology and founder of Cognicorp + Therapie Inc., has devoted most of her career to serving users and coordinating "living labs" in the field of digital health and social services. She has provided support to mainstream teens and those with Special needs, as well as students and employees (through EAP services) using a multi-modal approach to health.
Our mission is to be the reference for the relief of psychological pain and the development of personal and professional well-being in order to address issues of accessibility, therapeutic support and the democratization of mental health services for patients, employees and students living in Canada and elsewhere. Our goal is to improve efficient, safe and affordable clinical care for both you as therapists (mental health care providers, corporate EAP services and clinicians in educational institutions) and your service users (patients, EAP employees and students). We want to help you respond to your service users' requests for help more quickly, while promoting a therapeutic experience and meeting HIPAA/PIPEDA security and compliance standards. The Cogni platform offers the ability to explore emerging virtual technology tools providing a one-stop shop of immersive environments offered in synchronous or asynchronous mode before, during and after for therapeutic purposes. ''The Cogni platform provides you with a key and several intervention opportunities to leverage to accelerate your therapeutic services and standards of care, while meeting PIPEDA/HIPAA compliance standards."
